These marble platters were created exclusively for Skandium. They are just a small part of a larger collection of products I designed using off-cuts from the Stone Theatre factory in London. The materials used vary according to availability.
This up-scaling project not only plays a part in the sustainability strategy of Stone Theatre but is also the basis for an apprentice mason training program.

My role in this project started at the very conception. The idea of repurposing the existing showroom into a forward thinking and creative space that would outline the position of Stone Theatre as a forward thinking and creative stone manufacturer.
The first exhibition, which was curated in partnership with The Photographers’ Gallery, powerfully set the context for a commercial enterprise such as Stone Theatre. Other exhibitions such as FOREST FORM were collaborations with artists and sculptures using stone as inspiration and or material.
